It is said that rain on your wedding day is good luck. If this is true, how blessed can you be with active tornadoes that drench out your wedding reception location so it is changed to an unplanned location less than 2 hours before your ceremony starts???? Answer: VERY! Teresa and Ryan were surrounded by love through out their entire day and were the very essence of calm. It seemed as if it didn't matter what was thrown their way, they were going to knock it out of the park. They did just that. Their elegantly baseball themed wedding was a beautiful classy evening that was scheduled to be held at Honeymoon Island in Dunedin, Florida, but was moved to Bon Appetite just about 2 hours before the start of the ceremony because the driving rain had washed out their original reception location. They called everyone on the invite list, told them the change of plans and each and every guest made it to the new location and Teresa looked amazing as she sauntered down the aisle escorted by her debonair father. The rain came back shortly after their ceremony, while portrait time was in full swing and things had to be brought inside. They made the best of it and were soon able to start the real party! The evening was filled with friends and family; dancing and desserts! Check out the sweets table and the donuts that were flown in from the brides favorite bakery in Buffalo, NY: Paula's Doughnuts. The rest of the desserts were made with love by her Mom, owner of Holy Cannoli. After all of the festivities the wedded couple received a sparkler exit and posed for a few night portraits after the skies cleared! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Vaught! Emmy Jay Photography wishes you nothing but love and happiness forever. Love you both!
